Seawork survey vessel sails home to Norway

ROV 1101, Built by BWSeacat and delivered to ROVas at Seawork 2013, has completed a safe journey back to Norway, covering 1,070NM and experiencing some really rough seas along the way. Robert Olsen, founder and general manager of ROVas, tells MJ that he is very happy with the performance of the vessel. ROV 1101 has gone straight to work and completed several inspection and survey jobs. The boat is equipped with a Seabotix vLBV 950 with 1,000m depth capacity, with USBL positioning and Olex software for ROV Tracking and seabed mapping. The vessel has been further fitted with several brackets for easy fitting of third party equipment, making it easy to adapt the system configuration specifically for each project.
