FOILING FERRIES PROJECT APPOINTS BOARD

A supervisory board has beenappointed to oversee the BelfastMaritime Consortium’s ambitiousproject to develop revolutionaryzero-emission ferries in the city.Earlier this year, the 13-partnersyndicate, headed by ArtemisTechnologies, won a £33 milliongovernment innovation grant forthe plans from the UK Researchand Innovation’s flagship Strengthin Places (SIP) Fund.Working closely with the SIPProgramme Director, Prof. MarkGillan, the supervisory board willprovide strategic leadership andsupport to the Belfast MaritimeConsortium UKRI Strength inPlaces project, and oversee itssuccessful completion.
