Patrol boat contract

A UK specialist builder of aluminium and steel workboats has recently been awarded the build contract for four patrol boats for Nigeria. PDL Marine based at Trafalgar wharf in Portchester has been awarded the multiple build contract. The vessels are designed by Bruce Roberts Europe BV, based in the Netherlands who have been working closely with PDL Marine on a variety of projects. Edgar Van Smaalen of the design team said: "it is great news for the project to have been awarded to PDL and we look forward to continue working closely with the team and ensure another great project is delivered to the client". It is a busy time for all the team at PDL Marine, with a 15m high speed Aluminium catamaran workboat also underway.
