First Contract for Dockwise's Uanguard

Dockwise have confirmed their first contract for the new Dockwise Vanguard vessel, immediately after delivery of the vessel at the end of 2012. The vessel, built by Hyundai Heavy Industries, will transport the Jack St. Malo platform hull from Korea to the US Gulf of Mexico. While initially in the form of an intent, the selection of the Type 0 vessel has now been confirmed by Chevron, the operator of the Jack St. Malo floating production platform.
