IHC Merwede to build three pipelaying vessels

Two contracts have been signed for the design, engineering and construction of two new 550t pipelaying vessels between IHC Offshore & Marine, part of IHC Merwede, and SapuraCrest. Furthermore, IHC signed a third contract with OSX Construcao Naval S.A. Brazil for the design and engineering of 300 ton pipelaying vessel, as well as a large equipment package supplied by IHC Engineering Business, among others. The orders total a worth of €450 million.
