Exhibition manager Raymond Siliakus: "The programme of this year's Europort Rotterdam is chock full with conferences, seminars and masterclasses, taking off the day before the actual exhibitions starts. The capacity of the exhibition itself has been enlarged from 40,000 square metres to 42,000 square metres and we expect delegacies from all over the world." When asked why Europort keeps expanding he answers: "I think Europort continues to grow because it is the perfect showcase of the strength of the Dutch maritime sector: innovative solutions, smart technologies and complex vessels. That's why this year's central theme is 'Advancing Maritime Leadership'; the four subthemes are 'Technological Leadership', 'Ship Efficiency', 'New Market Opportunities' and 'Human Capital', and form the thread through the entire programme."
