Rigdon, Chouest flex expansion muscles

Rigdon has done it again. Last month, Rigdon Marine Corp., Houston, said it completed a series of financial transactions that would "strategically position the company for future growth." Those transactions were a $170 million Credit Facility with a group of European banks led by DVB Bank and a $30 million equity investment. Controversially, $9.1 million of the new equity is being injected by France's Bourbon which says the investment was made "in compliance with American regulations particularly the Jones Act."
