Seaspan Corporation, Vancouver, Canada, has signed contracts to build its largest ships yet-eight 13,100 TEL) container vessels with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI) and its subsidiary, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. The contract price per ship is about $165 million, resulting in an expected delivered cost per vessel of about $181 million.
