South China shipyard builds series of 4,400 hp AHT's

This past September, China's South China Shipyard delivered the Kitty Fox II, another in a series of 4,400 hp Anchor Handling Tugs (AHTs).rnThe 42m × by 11m Kitty Fox II is classed BV 1 +HULL+Mach Special Service Multi-purpose AHT unrestricted navigation. Propulsion power is supplied by two 2,200 hp Cummins QSK60-M main engines. Other equipment includes an anchor handling and towing winch set.
