Traditionally, the biennial trade show SMM in Hamburg, Germany, serves as a backdrop for unveiling the next evolution in marine technology, particularly in the area of power and propulsion. This year's event was no exception. Over the next few months, we'll be discussing much of this new technology in the pages of Marine Log. For example, at this year's show Sweden's Marine Jet Power (MJP) took the opportunity to unveil the MJP Hybrid waterjet, which it says combines the very best characteristics of its revolutionary MJP DRB series with the highly respected MJP Ultrajet series for highspeed applications.
