Heat Illness and Injury Prevention

Marine industry workers-whether onboard a vessel or in a shipyard-must often work in hot and humid conditions, putting them at risk for heat exhaustion, heat stroke or other heat-related illnesses. With the summer just arriving for those of us in the Northern hemisphere, we can expect incidences of these problems to arise.
