SpecTec to support RN

SpecTec LTD UK has signed a 15 year contract with Serco, a key partner to the UK Ministry of Defence in the provision of marine services. SpecTec will supply AMOS Maintenance software, databases and associated consultancy services to be used to maintain a fleet of around 110 naval support vessels, including more than 30 new vessels. In addition, AMOS will be used to plan and execute maintenance to buoys and moorings around the UK (over 400 in number). The AMOS application will be installed on a central server and accessed by users at HM Naval Bases Portsmouth, Devon-port and Clyde. Deep sea vessels will have the AMOS application installed onboard, whilst smaller vessels will gain remote access to the Serco central server.
