Hart Fenton designs three new ferries for Wightlink

Hart fenton, the Portsmouth, UK-based naval architect and marine engineering consultancy, has been selected by Wightlink to provide the design for its three new ships which are being built in Croatia to service the busy Lymington-Yarmouth ferry service, which carries approximately 1.35M passengers annually. The new Wight class vessels, to be named Wight Light, Wight Sky and Wight Sun, will replace Wightlink's older C-class vessels the Caedmon, Cenred and Cenwulf, which were built in 1973 and are now more than 30 years old.
