Readers of MER may recall that back in our issue of September 2008, Keith Ray told the story of the Robin, the last surviving, completely original coastal steamer in the world. At the end of the article, he was able to announce that the vessel had been saved from possible scrapping with a loan from Crossrail and was to undergo substantial repairs and restoration.
