Biggest cat takes the water

The largest catamaran yet built by Austal was successfully launched in January. The 113m long Leonora Christina is owned by Danish company Faergen (formerly Nordic Ferry Services), and will be operated by Bornholmer Fsergen, a subsidiary of Faergen. It will join the 86m Austal-built catamaran, Villum Clausen, which has been operating the route between Renne on the Danish island of Bornholm and Ystad in south east Sweden for over 10 years.
