John Carlton- FROM PROPELLERS TO THE PRESIDENCY

Currently John Carlton is Professor of Marine Engineering at the City University London. Until October last year he was the Global Head of Marine Technology and Investigation at Lloyd's Register. He initially trained as a mechanical engineer and mathematician and served in the Royal Naval Scientific Service undertaking research into underwater vehicle hydrodynamic design and propulsors.
