Cleanship Solutions (CSS) has unveiled a new containerised ballast water treatment system (BWTS) that is both modular and completely portable. The system is suitable for use across multiple vessels that do not require ballasting on a regular basis, making it particularly cost effective in cases were the cost of retrofitting a system is prohibitive. "Our containerised systems provide shipowners with the option of purchasing one system that they can share between their fleet, rather than having to purchase and retrofit one system per vessel.
