New leaders at Spangler

The board of directors of Spangler Candy Company has announced promotions at the 101-year-old family company. Dean L. Spangler has been elected to the position of chairman and chief executive officer. Kirk-land B. Vashaw has become president and William G. Martin has been elected executive vice president and chief financial officer. All of the appointments will be effective on January 1,2008.
