Nestle has opened a manufacturing facility worth AED 500 million (US$136 million) in Dubai TechnoPark. The 515,000 sq. ft. facility - employing 555 people - specializes in manufacturing, canning and packaging Nestle brands such as Nido Milk, Kit Kat and Nestle Pure Life bottled water. The Middle East facility is Nestles first confectionery factory to open in a decade, and will act as its regional headquarters. In addition, it will be the third-largest producer of Nestle's Kit Kat brand.
