Line-of-business manufacturing managers are still struggling to get their CEOs to undestand the bottom-line impact of their operations.rnThe dimensions of this struggle have emerged through extensive interviews with manufacturing executives and CEOs around the world, recently detailed by growth consulting and research company Frost & Sullivan in its "Vision of the Future of Manufacturing and Production" (Visi-MAP) study. Despite driving unprecedented productivity gains by working harder, smarter, and managing with less, leaders of manufacturing, supply chain, automation, and IT organizations are still having trouble getting their CEOs to realize the impact their efforts have had on financial performance.
