Five major textile retailing giants from Australia plan to open offices this year in India to source their requirements. The retailers conveyed their plans during the visit of a 12 member delegation from the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce to Australia recently, according to C. Sarat Chandran, director of the chamber. Mr. Chandran said the chamber would be working with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Western Australia to recruit engineers from India on a broad range of skills including civil construction, oil and gas, mining and mechanical engineering, to work in Western Australia.
