A Review of Advanced Fibre Reinforced Composites

摘要

Advanced composite materials are high performance man-made materials/fibres consisting of a reinforced matrix system. They can be tailored for specific applications and properties to produce the desired weight, temperature resistance, and electrical conductivity or strength characteristics. Advanced composite materials have been used in many different applications. Advance textile composite are usually made from high modulus fibres or yarns such as glass, graphite, aramid, etc. In this review, the works reported in the literature on 'Advanced fibre reinforced composites' have been reviewed highlighting the related issues and recent development.
