Acceptability and market potential of eco friendly printed products by Weed Gum

摘要

The present paper envisages to develop eco friendly print by natural dyes and natural thickening agents and assessment of its suitability and marketability. To develop eco friendly printed products printing paste was made from natural gum obtained by cassia tora seed and dye extract prepared by Buteamonosperma flower dye using aqueous method. For this purpose thirty respondents were randomly selected. Suitability and market potential rating scale was used for data collection. The results revealed that developed printed products were found highly suitable and had good market potentials.
