The demand for Technical Textile products is bound to increase in India with rising disposable income, as the per capita consumption of such products is presently around 3-4 kg compared to 30-40 kg in other countries. This creates lucrative opportunity for industry players to invest in technical textiles sector, a top Government official stated.
