摘要

High-speed magic angle spinning at high magnetic field was used to obtain high-resolution solid-state ~(23)Na NMR spectra of anhydrous Na_2SO_3 (P3, Z = 2). Observation of the spinning sidebands of the ~(23)Na satellite ( ± 3/2 reversible ± 1/2) transitions allows the identification of the three crystallographic sites that could not be distinguished in the central transition region of the NMR spectrum. The ~(23)Na sites in this salt were characterized by NMR for the first time and assigned to the crystallographic sites on the basis of a point-charge model of the electric field gradient tensors at each site.
