As Apple has grown its operating systems, their frameworks have not stood still. Apple has kept them moving, adding new features every year. Some of those features are things that some of us had already implemented ourselves. Now we have them in Apple's frameworks, but it's easy to miss those additions when you're hard at work writing and maintaining the application bits. This month, let's look at some of the things you may have third-party libraries or your own code for that you may be able to remove in favor of Apple's own implementation.
