Urban Legends

I know that most, if not all of you, have a pretty good idea of what urban legends are all about. Just to make certain that there is no misunderstanding, here is a definition from the Internet: "a humorous or horrific story or piece of information circulated as though true, especially one purporting to involve someone vaguely related or known to the teller." I'm not going to claim to know anyone who may have created an urban legend, but I would like to address several related to lubrication and lubricants.
