THE IMPORTANCE OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN to both the economy and society have long been understated and under-appreciated to a large degree. This thought comes from observations I ve made as we've been through several weeks of the pandemic-which, at this point, has no clear end in sight. On a personal level, I've been working out of my home for about a decade, so that part is no different. What is different, however, is the "stay at home" order and social distancing-two terms I likely would have never thought of before-as well as the travails of home schooling our fifth grader. Let's just say it's not my forte by any stretch.
