DFDS LISCO, the former Lithuanian state owned line acquired by DFDS, has been exploring growth opportunities, despite facing some regional difficulties. "Non Progredi est regredi" (If you don't go forward, you go backwards, in Lithuanian) is the watchword of DFDS LISCO, one of the leading maritime companies in the Baltic. If you have never heard of the company, it is because it only took this name on June 1. AB Lietuvos juro laivininkystee, (the Lithuanian Shipping Company, more recently known as AB LISCO Baltic Service), was established on June 27 2001 following LISCO's reorganisation and purchase by DFDS of Denmark.
