As usual, there has been considerable Greek activity within the sale and purchase market, but this time with a subtle shift towards slightly newer tonnage, with an average building year of 1981. This presents an interesting contrast when compared with the Koreans choice of older tonnage, an average of 1974-built vessels. The Greeks have purchased 12 vessels built after 1980, and the Koreans two, built pre-1980.
