The 'Berry Report' as it has come to be known across the UK industry (Transport Minister Norman Baker unusually named the civil servant who compiled it) at least places on record that the Government understands the importance of light rail. This is welcome news, but there are inevitably lots of questions that need to be answered quickly to keep the construction ball rolling when the current capital projects are completed.
