Web site search engine optimization: a case study of Fragfornet

Ideally, SEO should be incorporated at the very beginning of a web site's project planning. This article demonstrates that it is still possible to overcome a lack of visibility way after a site's launching. This work should be carried out during the whole life of the site so as to maintain a good indexing value. For a site to be attractive as well for web crawlers as for human visitors, it must simply offer interesting and regularly updated content. Because Fragfornet is not a commercial web site we have to keep in mind that good indexing is not a goal in itself. Still, some improvement of the site can still be considered for the coming months. This can involve updating the site on a regular basis, focusing on the inclusion of pertinent complex expressions and specialized keywords.
