Similarly, there are plenty of free dictionary apps (categorized under Books & References in Play Store) available through the Google Play Store; most of them have annoying notifications, poor performance and low rating. Among free 100+ apps, two are significantly useful and authentic dictionaries, i.e. The Oxford Dictionary of English available only in online mode and Dictionary by Merriam-Webster available even in offline mode but sometimes requires internet in case of pronunciations. The library professionals can recommend that users have these in their mobile device. These dictionaries have a reputation of authenticity for 200 years and are developed by renowned contributors and editors. These search and learning tools can be of great help to users.
