Sources of Historical Legal Records The Historic Records of the Judicial Function of the UK Parliament

The move of the Law Lords to the new Supreme Court of the United Kingdom was reported in the 2009 issue of Legal Information Management. The transfer of the House of Lords' Judicial Function to the new court not only effected the separation of the legislature from the judiciary at its highest level in the UK; it also left behind a significant legacy of records in the Parliamentary Archives relating to that function from the sixteenth century to 2009.
