After last year's disappointing results, it was refreshing to witness people once more queuing to get into the raw materials part of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair in Hong Kong. All over the fair had a much improved aspect as the organisers had rearranged the exhibition so that for many the three halls in the new extension formed the bulk of the fair. This meant narrow aisles and an increased awareness of traffic. To add to the crowded feel the concourse fronting hall 2 was filled by the Australian pavilion (to recreate the ambience once enjoyed in phase one of the building and the Indian pavilion.
