Steep prices keep buyers from the market

Hong Kong appeared to be very well attended with a lot of interest in both hides and skins from all quarters. Most of the activity was concentrated in Hall 1 with Hall 3 for accessories. This clever revamp helped to make the fair seem busy but it was hard to tell if numbers were up or down on last year as we were all packed into the same hall. Sellers did not know what to ask as prices appeared to rise every few hours.
