CFTI Focusses On Skill Upgradation Of Rural Artisans

The Central Footwear Training Institute (CFTI) at Chennai has been rendering very useful services in providing inputs for Human Resources Development in the footwear and allied industries. The organisation which functions under the Ministry of Small Scale Industries, of the Government of India recently held a Valedictory function for students availing of the courses pertaining to skill upgradation of rural artisans. The meeting was presided over by Mr. T. Udhayachandran, IAS. A display of shoes made by the 6th batch of students was also presented on the occasion.
