Lessons Learned from Commercial Activities Competitions

Many lessons have been learned as more and more portions of the federal work force have become subject to commercial activities competitions in an effort to make them more efficient. These lessons are becoming increasingly relevant as the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has removed some of the advantages held by those already employed by the federal government and tightened the amount of time available to conduct competitions under OMB circular A-76.
