摘要

In a recent conversation and podcast interview, Frances Hesselbein suggested that those who do not want to let go of the status quo, those who remain entrenched in what was and balk at change must ask themselves if they want to be part of the future or the past. This statement has rested in my mind since our conversation. It invigorates me, it excites me, and it keeps me focused on days when trying to put forth a leadership model that is counter-intuitive and uses not only strengths, but changes and challenges (even failures) as levers for human potential, is thwarted by those who do not want to change and will do anything they can to protect the status quo.
