CFE to lease fiber-optic network to AXTEL

Axtel, S.A.B. de C.V. (AXTEL), a fixed-line integrated telecommunications company, and Mexico s Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) announced the signing of an agreement through which CFE will lease its fiber-optic network to AXTEL, thus increasing AXTEL s integrated services capabilities. With this agreement, AXTEL will have the ability to provide additional virtual private network (VPN) and data services via CFE s extensive fiber-optic network.
