Brazil mobile subscribers total 115 million at end of October

Brazil recorded 1.93 million new mobile lines at the end of October, with almost 115 million, an increase of 1.72 percent compared to the end of September, local telecoms regulator Anatel said in a statement. The mobile user base in Brazil is now 80.4 percent prepaid. The country added 18.04 million new mobile lines in the last 12 months, according to Anatel.
