Digicel Panama sets aside US$100 million for investment in 2011 Digicel Panama has revealed that, after spending US$400 million on its operations, it plans to invest another US$100 million in 2011 to expand its network and introduce HSPA+ technology. The announcement regarding capital expenditure came alongside the introduction of the cellco's new CEO, Mario Mendez Miller, and Digicel confirmed that HSPA+ deployment was already underway, although no firm date was given for its commercial introduction.
