America Movil (AM) has announced that its mobile subsidiary Radiomovil Dipsa (Telcel), has entered into an agreement with Mexican media conglomerate Grupo MVS to indirectly acquire approximately 60MHz of spectrum in the 2.5GHz band, covering an unspecified number of regions across the country. The agreement is subject to certain corporate and regulatory conditions, including the prior approval from the Federal Telecommunications Institute (Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones, IFT).
