Venezuelan state-owned nationwide telco CANTV and its mobile division Movilnet have signed a strategic partnership with SME groups in the country with the aim of boosting development in the business customer sector. As part of a renewed focus on SMEs, CANTV and Movilnet are promising companies nationwide mobile coverage, new packages and content services such as 'Activa tu empresa con PAC Mobile' and 'Agroconetado', alongside the recently announced commitment to launch 4G LTE services by December this year. CANTV says it currently provides fixed voice services to 720,000 private companies in Venezuela, while business internet services have 326,000 subscribers.
