America Movil Q2 revenues drop 2.7% to MXN250.1bn

Mexico City-based telecoms giant America Movil (AM) has reported total revenues of MXN250.1 billion (US$13.1 billion) for the three months ended 30 June 2019, representing a decrease of 2.7% compared to MXN257.0 billion in 2Q18. EBITDA for the quarter under review, meanwhile, climbed 6.3%, from MXN73.5 billion to MXN78.2 billion. Finally, AM's bottom line jumped from MXN435 million in the second quarter of 2018 to net income of MXN14.1 billion in 2Q19.
