Telefonica Chile revenues fall 5% in Q3, up to 600,000 fiber customers

Telefonica Chile reported third-quarter revenues down 5.1 percent year on year on an organic basis to EUR 470 million, again attributed to regulatory impact and intense competition in the mobile sector above all. The company's operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) was EUR 183 million in the quarter, up 5.2 percent year-on-year following IFRS 16 adoption, while the OIBDA margin came in at 39.0 percent, up 3.3 percent from the year-earlier period.
