High-tensile Wire Mesh & Revegetation System for Slope Stabilization

The tecco~R Slope Stabilization System is a new mitigation system consisting of a mesh of high-tensile steel wire. It is used in combination with soil and/or rock nails to stabilize steep slopes in unconsoli-dated material and rock that is liable to slip and breakout. Unlike stiff facings such as shotcrete, the flexibility and strength of this mesh allows for a facing that is in active tension against the slope, and is able to cope with some surface water and expansive soils.
