Jabodetabek in indonesia is a highly urbanised area of 650 square kilometres and home to 10 to 12 million people. jabodetabek, which stands for jakarta, bocor, depok, tanceranc and bekasi, lies in a river basin formed by two major rivers, the ciliwunc and the clsadane, that originate in the mountainous area near bogor and the puncak. the area can be seen as the economic heart of indonesia.
