Light rail tunnel in Rotterdam

In 2004, construction started of a 3 km tunnel in rotterdam, the netherlands. The tunnel forms part of the future randstadrail light rail link (named after the randstad urban conurbation, of which rotterdam is part) connecting the cities of rotterdam, the hague and zoetermeer. The clients are the local government and the Rotterdam public transport company.
