Method using daylight and artificial light source for illumination of rooms, tunnels, rail vehicles

The method involves concentrating daylight using an optical collection lens or corresponding mirror so that it is acquired by a light conducting fibre or a bundle of fibres, fed over a distance in the fibres and output from the fibres at a desired position. The output light can be in the form of a beam or diffuse light after scattering by an optical diffuser. Additional daylight or artificial light can be fed into the fibres at T-pieces if the level of daylight concentration is too low.
